The Chamber of Secrets is Hogwarts' most infamous location, having been built with malicious intentions by founder Salazar Slytherin. With the basilisk having been vanquished in the Second Wizarding War, what is left is simply a 'tourist' destination for Hogwarts students. The entrance to the chamber can be found in the Girls' Lavatory on the third floor. Bring a Parselmouth with you as they are the key to unveiling the sink contraption hiding the entrance. Once you climb down the pipes, the real door is a pair of snakes intertwined that respond to Parseltongue. Again, a Parselmouth's ability can be used to open this door.

While a popular reason for anyone to visit, the basilisk's skeleton has long been cleared away, fearing that students may come down and take a fang for their own. What remains is an empty underground hallway, the paths still slightly slippery with lack of maintenance, and the snake statues still standing and leading towards the statue of Slytherin. The air is undeniably damp from the water still sitting in the underground cave and the lack of ventilation, but it seems to be a popular spot for covert mischief.
